This “unbecoming” could be our attitude, priorities, spending
behavior and the real flux of cash that stays in the wallet.
These, and an eternal dreaming habit, prevent us in “becoming.”
Keeping all these in perspective is the answer to become a
millionaire and to achieve an ideal quality of life.
While there is no overnight-success formula, here are some tips
that should help you enrich your life day by day!
1. Solidify your plan.
How much richer would you like to be? If you want to become a
millionaire, how many millions do you want to have? By when?
Remember that having a million doesn’t make you a millionaire.
Are your calculations practical and realistic? How are you going
to earn additional bucks to achieve your monetary goal?
Write down your plan and set your goals clearly. Make sure your
objectives are achievable. Prepare yourself; act based on your
plan. Failing to plan is planning to fail.
If you are daunted by your figures, change them to avoid
frustrations in the end. This is a game of life; so strategy
comes into play.
2. Make a life while making money.
Surely, money can’t buy happiness. Money will not solve all of
your problems. You don’t want to end up a millionaire, alone and
sad right? So don’t be too rigid in your money-making scheme.
Include in your plan a time for yourself, family and friends.
Even if this means purchasing things for them that are simple
and reasonably priced. Moments together with your loved ones are
better spent now. These aspects of your life should not wait
until you become rich. Never ever think of sacrificing these
things if you don’t want to pay the price later on.

3. Set a budget to rule your plan and lifestyle.
Budgeting is the skeleton of your “be-a-millionaire” plan. While
drastic dieting will crash your body system, a life-changing
budget is a blow to your lifestyle.
Set a budget monthly. List down all of your expenses based on
needs and priorities. Think how you’ll strategize to reduce your
expenditures then release money according only to your budget.
The basic rule: be sensitive to what is really important and
rational to give in to your desires.
There’s a notion that our lifestyle elevates our status into
something higher. Hey, in a democratic country, we’re all middle
class! So don’t mind the “class,” think about the cash.
4. Saving is the name of the game.
You might have heard a lot of things about saving as a virtue. I
wish to point out three things here.
First, put your savings in the bank. Not only will it earn
interest, but it will also prevent you from impulsive spending
in contrast to having the cash at hand. It’s easier to spend
money than to go to a bank to deposit it. But in the long run,
it’s the latter that would increase your credit.
